So I did a thread on a set of dead DF pups. Well, those pups came with this bad boy below :dood: . I ran across it as it’s a 81 The “V” burst which compliments my 81 LPC burst. But when I checked out the serial number, it was made on the 175th day of 1981. Well that turns out to be June 24th, my wife’s BD. KARMA I instantly thought.
So when it arrived I checked out the original pups, both dead and then documented in the above thread. It came with SDs installed and the originals in the case. Installed the reborn DF pups last night, added copper tape shielding and did some fine tuning today. This bad boy rocks! Played it through the Mesa 5:25 today and it can go from nice cleans to full on Ramo metal!
