Thanks Norm. It was a Christmas present from my brother in 1986. It has literally traveled around the world with me, and been used on every guitar I have owned. After so many years, it is so broken in and comfortable, that nothing else feels as good.Nice strap Ebidis!
I have one of those too that I got for my Ovation a very long time ago. Bought it in Door County WI. Locally handmade. Those Well Hung Straps are cool, but I have a leather strap that I've been using for 34 years. It would take something really great to make me give it up.

Like well worn blue jeans. Nothing like them. Thanks Norm. It was a Christmas present from my brother in 1986. It has literally traveled around the world with me, and been used on every guitar I have owned. After so many years, it is so broken in and comfortable, that nothing else feels as good.

This one was bought in the 74. Made in USA. No idea how Ovation is doing things today. The few I’ve picked up and played that were 80s and newer, just did not compare to mine in sound or feel.I like that intonated bridge that you have on that. They should do that more often on acoustics.
A family member making it for you is a true heirloom. Very special.I still have the thick leather one mu uncle made for me in around 1980? I use it with the doubleneck. I don't give up good straps, I just more guitars to justify the Well-Hung!!
Another thing. While I probably preferred a Martin way back.... just didn’t have the bucks for a good one. And this one in 1974 for a 20 year old kid with no money was still plenty expensive. But one plus to the composite back vs an all wood guitar. It isn’t terribly affected by humidity and temperature changes.I like that intonated bridge that you have on that. They should do that more often on acoustics.
