I guess because when I was a child I played with a Boss amp(M80 2x8 pop music amp) and Roland amp (jc120 2x12 jazz music amp) from my oldest brother. Then I tryed a Marshall and this one blow my mind. It had distorsion. After that no turning back.

I don't remember wich Marshall I played first. It was a solid state. I think It was a lead 12. My first tube amp was my '98 TSL100 with a 1936 cab. Before I used a 2X12 JCM900 DR but I didn't buy It. It was own by my cousin.

Mine was a Peavey Rockmaster. I played it to its death. Didn't know how to bias or that I should let alone change tubes when needed.

I guess I was what you call, "plug and play" to a fault.
