Thanks man, I appreciate it!

I think Epiphone LP's are great. I have a 2014 Slash signature model, and it is excellent. The Seymour Duncan Slash signature pickups are some of the best humbuckers I have ever tried.

The guitar is amazing: Full thick maple cap, long neck tenon, Real rosewood board, 19:1 ratio tuners, 9 hole weight relief, nickel hardware, orange drop caps. The same specs that Epiphone now uses in their "Inspired By Gibson" '50s LP models (except for the weight relief, the rosewood, and the pickups), which get rave reviews. It also is a limited edition color: Rosso Corsa (Racing Red) and is supposed to have a "special Slash neck shape", which is a baseball bat, but I love it.

I inhereited the guitar from a very dear friend, so I'm not a Slash fan boy . Anyway, when I got it I also had a couple of Gibsons. The Gibsons are gone, but I still have the Epi. That says something.

Anyway, this has nothing to do with your thread, I'm just saying that I think Epiphone has made some excellent guitars in recent years, and they don't get enough credit.
