Glad that it worked well for you buddy, I am going to have to take a look at the offerings and price points, for any of my squires that may need a better neck.Ok...
The neck actually fit the pocket tightly enough that I had to tap the neck into place with the heel of my hand.
The unplugged volume of the guitar is, at the very least, twice as loud as before. The sustain is indescribable.
The gold alloy Jescar frets are so slick that it feels as if they are greased.
The feel of the 1.00" profile 'V' neck is difficult to describe. It fills up my size 13 glove hands very comfortably. The 1-3/4" fretboard width makes open chords effortless and insanely accurate....no more bunching up my fingers to hold an open 'A' while muting out the adjacent strings.
Honestly, for me, 1-3/4" neck could be wider. If I had it to over again, I would have gone 1-7/8" right off the bat.
This is a really great experience...

Thanks
I will probably just stay with mightymite $120.00, and with my layaway plan from the local music store, I have purchased 3 so far.The $300 is worth it....
The one no name on my yelo Strat was $40.00 same amount that I paid for the guitar.
Cheers
For a neck that feels right to you, $300 is reasonable. The $300 is worth it....

So what is the likelihood the guitar will now be given to your band mate?
Rob, If the story improves, it will be money well worth it, and a tell tale sign for Wood counts.
