Tonight I'm...

I mentioned my goto pick was Fender mediums. I bought a box of 25 somewhere back in the 80s. I still have about 5 of them left. While some of you destroy picks, I either lose them or loan them..... never to be seen again. I think in 45 years of playing guitar, I’ve only broken or actually worn out three or four picks. :hmmm:

I used Hercos for a year back in the Seventies but stopped.

Since then I've stuck with regular celluloid. Heavy 346 triangle imprinted with the band's logo back in the 80s, when I ordered 'em ten gross at a time to toss out to the crowd. Then heavy standard 351 shape for years, and more recently mediums in the same standard shape.

I got two bags of various assorted materials and shapes from another player last year, intending to try them out for tone and see how they suit with my own hand & picking style. Never got around to it. One of these days.

But I am interested, especially about their sound properties.
It's an aspect of guitar tone that I never explored.

I have one somewhere, but don't like it much. It's thick and the edges aren't rounded enough IMO. That doesn't mean I wouldn't like another one, it's the only one I've tried.
do you remember name of it? I find it easier to play with V picks but like i said earlier the one I have is a bit small. need to order starter pack and go through with them all to find best for me :)

Always used Fender White medium or heavy the 346s. I got used to the large triangular shape, has 3 points and easier to grip.
Gotta be white, find a dark pick on a dark stage that always has dismal lighting on tear down.
I got some customs both with band names and without. Some are glow in the dark!
I chose the black one side ones.
