I've been messing around with this for a couple of hours. It's still kinda rough, but I pretty much have everything down except the bridge/guitar solo section.

here's a couple of takes. The first one has some mistakes, but I think has a more vibey feel over all.

So here's my rough takes on a Jimi classic.

Don't have a pc. Just a Mac Book Air, which is a glorified iPad. This is why my tech is limited.

A MacBook Air with an external USB drive to store files on would work fine with Reaper. All you would need is an interface for the guitar and possibly a mic. The Apogee Jam works great if you only want guitar.
