My father (78) was flown to Edmonton hospital late last night... i was up much of it with after mom who got a call from a doc regarding wishes to carry on what levels of rescesitation or not for him. Thankfully it didn't quite come to that. We hear he has some sort of enlarged aorta issue, and serious breathing issues in imminent danger of an aneurysm... so it's going to be touch and go for a bit... anyway... Anand all prayers, mojo, thought appreciated.

Going to go be with my mom soon and call the hospital with her

Ok fellas, sorry for the delay, this weekend kind of a shitshow! Dad being away, my mom's anxiety issues flared up (of course), so it's been fun.
Anyway, my pop is stable, (moreso than my mom), but he's got some serious heart/artery issues and will require surgery, not sure when.
It's like open heart stuff, bust open the ribcage and all that. He sounds pretty scared, but understands if he doesn't move forward, a burst
aorta is like a "two minutes 'til goodbye" situation. anway, things are as much in control as I could hope. Dad is lucid and even made
me promise to drive mom to another hospital tomorrow to make sure she get her scheduled bloodwork done, she was going to cancel.
Honestly? I think on some crazy level he's just glad to be out of the house and seeing new faces for a while -

With the covid rules in place getting hospitalized it a whole different animal, I was the only guy able to see him when he was at the local
hospital, I had to dress in a gown, gloves and silly hat to get in to see him. Then, they air-ambulanced him four hours away. But, he's
able to text and call us, and I am grateful for that

So that's all I have for now.

Once again thank you all for your concern and care. Both my parents are both not long for this world, but I'd like to make sure I can do what I
can to make the last few years and months they have as good as possible.
