The Ultimate Gibsons Les Paul Custom Replica - A New Twist:

The replica in Slash's left hand...a AFD Gibson signature model in his right hand...:-)

I love the controversy....2017-04-17-12-40-59-1910804410.jpeg

Oh i hear ya Robert on your Luthier built LPC. Its a beautiful guitar.I just noticed the Gibson decal on the headstock :)

Trust me when I say this...(and i hope Biddlin and Gball really see where im coming from on this) had I been able to walk into Guitar Sinner, or order from Sweetwater, and know that I could take my new Gibson LPC straight off the rack and into the studio and earn money with it, I would have bought one.

That's not possible.

This LPCR is the perfect studio guitar.

It's funny, when I spent nearly $1,000 with Case on my 2016 Gibson SG, many people congratulated the purchase and then turned around and ridiculed me for complaining about the quality control issues...

And negatory on the cost of this Les Paul Custom, Goo...Let's just say I went to the factory and picked it up...its cheaper that way...what model is it???

Well it's a..... :)

Not a decal...that's a laser cut, Pearloid inlay Gibson script and Epiphone sized split diamond on a piece of mahogany veneer... :-)

To be honest I miss the dog the most......

Got the black trim ring screws with correct countersink that fits the trim ring correctly....still waiting for pickups to arrive from GFS...

Note the saddles on the loaner ABR-1 almost in perfect alignment...

This was Gibson's idea of setup. G string all the way back and still over two cents sharp...all because of how the nut was cut...

Photo taken September 29, 2016 - the day I got the SG home.

Went down to Guitar Sinner to try the LPCR on some different amps. Had a couple guys stop and admire it. I told them that it was a replica when they asked how old it was.

The one guy asked, "So, do you even have a real Gibson?" I laughed and said, "Yep...I have a 2016 SG, but it only gets played by my student's now..."

:)
