Malcolm WAS the sound of AC/DC and it was largely that old beat up and heavily modded Gretsch Duo Jet. They have a helluva sound apparently

Just think, if you get one, you'll be so much closer to being tonally satisfied.
I liked my Gretsch, it didn't really have the Gretsch thing going, but it was tuff and played great.


Deeply regretted trading that one off. Tried to get it back, but I was too late.
It was sold. Oh well. Live & learn...
