Practice Amps?

I like the Mustang -- have had several damn fine product as is the RUMBLE (they have a modeling version ive not tried but I assume based on the mustang its awesome)
VOX Vt20x is great--
the Roland Micro cube and Yamaha (ferget the name ) ARE great -- my Laney Lion Heart battery amp sounds very nice for QUIET early morning noodles -- to me trying different things is FUN-- and you learn
like the Orange SS Crush series are good (better if run through a good cab) ,,,,,and why if anyone wants to trade a CRUSH SS head for a Marshal DSL 15 Im listening ............

I've kind of realized I don't need all that much variety. I just don't necessarily want to fire up the Mesa rig every time I want to play, and sometimes I want to play very quietly or in another room, etc. So I want a small portable tube amp. I'm done with modelers. I'm pretty done with solid state. I'd rather have one inspiring sound than 100 patches of digital almost-there-but-not-quite. I had to order it because they only had the one in the store, none new, and it had clearly been there a while.

looks complicated......................................like after 30 minutes Id be looking for the ADJUSTMENT TOOL

After 30 minutes, you’ll be asking how many different amplifiers and pedals can they hide in this thing?!?....I’ve barely made a dent just scrolling through the library. Most of them sound pretty darned convincing/good too!
But....the Kemper does not fit @gball ’s description of desired amp.

As much as I love to try new gear I have come to the realization that if it doesn't sound like a Gibson into a Marshall I'm not going to play it. I love that little DSL1HR I have. Definitely sounds like a Marshall and it is super light weight. I leave my 212 at the cabin and haul the little head back and forth now.
