Grew up in a small town in western Illinois in the 60/70s. Most us guys had the long hair. Did not do face paint. Did not do platforms. We did, however, have some of the coolest bell bottom trousers you can imagine.

Bells weren’t big enough for us. Our moms had to splice material in to turn the bells into tents. Coulda fit two boots in one leg.

This is probably the last time we played at this place, the reason I say that is because we had a fill in drummer. Our drummer had a blue kit , and this drummer is on a white kit, we borrowed him from my brother in laws band

I wanted to wear jeans, but I was shut down, but it was great because people thought we were almost famous ha ha

Same except that I was only out of high school for about 7 years, and 9-29-83 was when my youngest son was born, also the same time I had hung up the guitars and sold my gear.
