New Pickup (truck) day!

Thanks y'all. I've always had trucks, the RAV 4 was ok but man it feels good to be back in a truck!

I only have a couple of gripes with it. Those running board have got to go! I 'bout killed myself getting into it the first time. They are just in the way and makes it hard to get in and out. The backup camera in the rear view mirror is a little weird to me, I've never had a backup camera so I'm used to using the rear view mirror and now with the screen in there it's like there's something blocking my mirror. I suppose I'll get used to that. The mud flaps have to go, too. Gotta get all that old man garbage off of there, lol!

I agree, nerf bars are good for going over boulders, I left my mud flaps on till one of my tires went, then removed them, my buddy Ed’s truck has the back up camera in the same location as yours, and I would just use the side mirrors.
Still a great truck!!
Cheers

I was going to get new wheels for these tires, but there seems to be very few options for 16" wheels that will fit these tires. I might have to go ahead and get tires too and move up to a 17" or 18" wheel, then I can put a little bit wider tire on it. I don't want a lift kit or anything, just a better looking stance and some nice wheels. I hate the look of stock rims.

I used to be that way and it needed a lift, but now I just kind of keep it the way it came, don’t get me wrong bro, I would love to put a small 3” suspension lift and a bigger set of shoes on it , but my average commute is 60+ miles one way and I go through tires , and gasoline more than my pocket can hold.
You have a sweet looking ride buddy, and it’s yours to do as you see fit, can’t beat a Toyota ...
:beers: :2Thumbs::)

Besides the cost, my tired old back says it's high enough off the ground already. I won't be putting a lift on it, just beefing up the tires as far as I can without needing a lift and keeping the road ride the way it is. It already has the tallest tires that can fit under it as is, I don't want any taller. This is all about looks, not going rock climbing or mud slingin' or anything. :kewl:

A big congrats, and may you enjoy the journey of modding the F out of it to your heart's desire... :cheers:
