That lil Lead 12 is a legend actually. When it was sold it was passed off as cheap Marshall for beginners. Now? Its an iconic lunchbox amp that showed millions the value of the LEAD Mosfet sound

I still have my Lead 12 combo that I bought new in ‘86 as a practice amp.
I gave my Lead 12 combo amp to my bandmate’s son for his High School graduation.
He still uses it, and the guitar I gave to him.

I have had two lead 12 combo. It's a real fun amp. It's great using it into a 4X12.
Of all the Marshalls I’ve had and sold, the Valvestate 8240 (combo 2x12) is the one I regret the most. Stereo chorus 40W+40W. I regreted it every sunday morning. I sold it when I bought a TSL100. In that time I thought that the TSL was enough. I was so Stupid.
