An Observation

I use Facebook every day. I keep in touch with cousins and friends I haven’t seen in many years. I still feel like I know them. I ignore all the crap. Especially during COVID I have found it invaluable to keep in touch.
No, sincerely,
everyone you know should join TTR and quit "facebook" (whatever that is...)
Then all your friends and family would share the GAS.
That is the best solution, I believe.

I used FB when it was new, once it got more popular it got really annoying. People started posting literally everything, if they could take pic of stinker they would post it too...

So in the end I gave up and I deactivated my acc, thing is you cant delete your acc you can deactivate it, but once you put password and user you are back in in a sec....

I use FB for market place, you can buy and sell locally without ad fees...

and I rarely use it talk to people who dont use wassap.

Not sure how many here are on the farcical Facebook, but it seems as that original thoughts in the last few years, have been replaced by cut & paste memes.
Every post is "shared" from someone else's "news feed". Usually over and over. Talk about an oxymoron, news & facebook in the same phrase.
People are posting all kinds of propaganda crap from every questionable source on earth. Always negative.
I suppose what I just wrote could be considered negative as well.
It's a sad statement for human interaction in the 21st century.
Just venting.

This forum is one of the few places where communication is still real.:dood:

While people do use social media for different reasons, many of them wholesome and intelligent.

I completely agree with your point. It's insanity. Worse, there are increasing laws, so we're going well beyond peer pressure, here, to conform or be punished.
