Finishing touches on the JTM45

I did like Cadorman did with his amps and posted.

Made a backwards version of my name using the early style Marshall font, and then printed it on water slide decal paper. I made the Plexi logo from some Lexan on the Bridgeport at work.

The first version did not come out too good, as I trimmed around the lettering. The color was mismatched between being sprayed on the decal or Lexan only.

My second attempt came out much better. I cut the decal the same size as the panel, then painted it. The gold was much more consistent. It looks like a better match to the panel when you’re looking at it in real life, not a photo.

"Finishing touches on the JTM45"...

I hope they include straightening out the indicator lamp jewel... :run: I'm about to have seizure... Anallism is a beotch!

I have straightened it a few times. It seems to like that spot. Valvestorm forgot to send the clip with it, so I had to make do at the local hardware store. Maybe I’ll add add a drop of super glue sometime.

Those f'n clips should be about 25 cents. Instead they are about $5. Valvestorm should, and you know they will, supply you with that stinking specialized clip!!!!!!!!
