I never spend jack poop on myself ever, just how i am. Musically speaking, the last thing i ever bought was a mic and a Joyo Ultimate Drive Pedal last year. Prior to that? Probably 10 years honestly since i bought anything new for myself gear related lol but i got a couple hundred bucks laying around from gifts and am looking at expanding a touch in the pedal area since my wife will kill me if i add another amp or guitar due to space.

Im looking heavily at a TC Electronic Mimiq doubler pedal and an attenuator for the SLX. Now i know, the bigger and pricier the attenuator, the better the sound. But i found a company called Carl's Customs that has one for literally like $50 thats a real speaker attenuator, unlike the JHS little Black box that is merely a volume knob between the preamp that only drives that section, not the power tubes. If anyone has any experience on these or the Bugera PS1 power soak, please share your experience and opinions!

But im open to other good suggestions on a nice pedal to have?

you got nice amps, why do you need pedal man.. ? attenuators are good thing to have, im thinking either shur reactieve load or two not captor x.. if you want pedal get Revv distortion or Friedman be-od delux...

how about F all that and get Jackson king V it will fit in really well with your explorer :)

Lol if she wouldnt scream and bitch at me, id definitely score a new guitar. But i dont wanna hear the noise of that mess, so smaller things I can sneak thru lol

I love the amps as is , typically play straight thru with no interference between the guitar and amp. The Mimiq pedal got my attention because its no so much as a true effect but rather a stereo splitter that gives off a double tracked sound. I figure something like that would be really cool playing the JCM2000 and the 900 SLX at the same time: 2 totally different sounds giving off an almost 2 guitar player effect.

The attenuator got my interest for the SLX alone where that is really similar to the older Marshalls with a more simple circuit. Figure if you could drive the power tubes and get that natural overdrive sound, it would work even better with that amp. I could just say screw the other pedals and spend it all on a good attenuator and may still do that actually
