Well i can hear all those intonation nuances to and i dont think ive bought one yet i didnt need to beat it into shape some how or another.Best set up guitar i ever bought new ???? A Lawsuite era Ibanez 335 Artstar series.was natural maple.

No pics...It was hanging in my local Guitar Sinner. I walked in to grab a new 50' cable. saw it, Played it. I mean the tone, the action, the intonation, the feel, even the grainy wood visible through the black finish on the back of the guitar was OK in light of how it played and sounded...Gibson 498T (Alnico5) 12.32-13.46 KO....

Ordinarily, I would not have liked the finish. I like the flash of a Les Paul Custom, but this guitar looks good in a very different way..I can't explain.

I've had my LP Custom for ten years, and just now really got bit with the Les Paul bug.

I don't know what it is about those beasts, but once they grab ya...they really grab ya!

Very true...and its a childhood fascination with the Les Paul Custom. Do I need hard to live with gold hardware??? Of course not!!!!
