the bassists of my "youth" that GOT me interested in Bass........ (sadly) mainly Gene Simmons, Cliff Williams -----also later learned every song with Carol Kaye ........so many "heroes" used a PICK !!!!!!!!!!!

but I cant seem to do it..........feels "wrong" ---I use two (sometimes 3) fingers.............slap da bass uses thumb and fingers........its just more NATURAL to me

He's been around for a long time. Mostly known as King Crimson and Peter Gabriel's bassist in both groups for the past 40 years or so. Great bassist, lil odd lol
