Ending the year with a bang and buying local. I purchased a 2x12 cabinet for the two WGS speakers my wife got me for Christmas. There are two Veteran 30's and I decided to put one with a Retro 30 in the 2x12. After playing for a few minutes, I quickly discovered that the Retro 30 is way way louder than the Veteran 30. I looked on the WGS website but they don't list sensitivity, only SPL. I'm going to swap the Retro for the other Veteran 30 and even it out. Later on, I will swap the two WGS for the Eminence Texas Heats I have and check that out.

I wanted a 2x12 to create a mini stack for the GR Amps JKD I got from @T-Rex . I'm a sucker for things out of the ordinary and slightly off the beaten path, and instead of refinishing a used 2x12, these popped up on my radar and the deal was too good to pass up.

The cabinet. Void free birch ply, stained black and closed back.

Velcro Grill, and he said I could order any color he has available for the grill to replace it for around $30. Super cheap but built great:

Closed back, and all corners/sides are reinforced. He puts a custom hand print inside each cabinet, as kind of is calling card.

The completed quarter stack. A good base to start with when I might jam with someone and I don't need one of my big 4x12s.

What I've been jammin on for the the last hour or so...
