Talk me out of it??

Horrifying suggestion coming up...
I mean truly and spectacularly frightening...
Now... I am going to preface this by saying that a LP is a guitar of many many gods, and a terrific and worthy choice.
But...
And again, this is scary...
Find a way to try a PRS SC 594...
I know I know... not the face mate!o_O
OK... I've moved back about 15 feet, just in case...
I'm serious though... just TRY it. Just once.
I know lots of guys that did it, and never regretted it.
Feels/sounds like heresy doesn't it?
Yeah, but maybe... just maybe it might be good!
Maybe not, but you'd know for sure after... right?

I am going to run away now, cuz I can see the stink eye just as good as the next wanker.

Dmatthews, are these the $4k-$5k single cuts? That would rule me out. I need oxygen and an IV of adrenaline if I spend more on a guitar than $600-$700 max. My 1k- 2k ones still give me sleepless nights.

Let's just say, I think most of us in here plus gball all have old enough BS meters that we don't offend easily.

On a side note, can't wait to see what gball has going on in his head as he ponders his decision. I know I often go through a zillion pros and cons before I ever decide on stuff that costs me cash.

I just buy away and then sell off later. I'm a notorious flipper! I flipped two guitars this week...

One more incoming and at least two or three still have to find new homes! It's FUN and I've played some of the best guitars ever made!

I was just going through the comments again, and the "flipper" comments grabbed my attention. I just realized that the last time I bought a Les Paul was over thirty years ago.

The one on the left, I got in late '89, and the other I got in late '83.

I guess that I'm happy enough with these two that I've never had to add more.

A perfect pair.JPG
