Whatcha all got for Christmas.

in my case we dont do presents for each other, we inly buy for my boy and lots of it :)
Nothing wrong with that! We have a set price for extended family, a better set price for immediate family and rarely buy each other stuff. Kids get the lion's share. Although i broke the rules and got my wife a good bit, clothes mostly because she rarely buys ANYTHING for herself. She in turn did the same back to me lol

I gave my wife $3.000 dollars , but $1.900 went to fix the plumbing leak we had.
Cheers

Was not going on an exploration of trying to find it, especially while I am at work, plus I am no plumber, everything I touch plumbing wise costs me more money in the long run.
I went to work and when I got home at 7:30 pm it had been done..
Of all the crafts one can attempt at home, plumbing sucks the highest lol i have never had a good bit of luck with it and every time you think its gonna be quick and easy, it turns into 10x the initial cost.

That being said, i gotta redo mine this year and im not looking forward to it lol

I hear you about Plumbing Mike, i stay away from that stuff, you are absolutely right!

we dont do any big gifts as the kids are grown. I gave the wife some flannel / winter pj bottoms.
The kids got us a Roku as we are trying to drop cable.

As for 2020, we try to focus on the positives.

Of note, I got my RR-JCM800 micro 1w chassis built and running with no issues on the 24th.
The presence control seems to have very little tonal change through the sweep of the pot though.
My B+ is a bit higher than posted at robrobinette.com and I need to do the power tube dissipation calc.

Absolutely sod all, which is exactly what I wanted and expected. Finally I think I'm getting through to people. :D
