I got a good deal on this Tom Anderson pre-wired pickguard

So I got this inexpensive Monoprice strat to put it in.

I think the black PG will work on the blue. Anyone think I should transplant the electronics to the white PG?

So, I am SUPER impressed with this guitar. It may be the best inexpensive Strat I ever purchased.

It was playable out of the box with low action, good neck relief and an overall good setup. After playing and bending each note on the neck, each note rings, there is no buzzing, no dead notes, no fretting out and NO need for a fret level. The ends are a bit sharp, which could be initial construction or subsequent fret sprout.

The pickups sound GOOD, with no audible 60 cycle hum on a clean setting at low volume. I would not hesitate to leave them in if it were not for the nature of the project.

The tuners are adequate and the strings were well wound.

As I read in the reviews, the neck is awesome. Satin finish and medium round shape - similar to a Squire Bullet

Electronics are as you would expect

I like the look of the black pick guard. I will be left with one uncovered hole. I have some black hardware I will swap in.

Looking good! I think the black goes well with the cloud blue, reminds me of like a Jake E Lee Charvel
