ClassicTone Going Out Of Business

When time allows this evening, I'll take a look through Amp Parts Direct's transformer catalogue. If they are not already stocked, I'll be asking they stock Heyboer iron for the brownface Fender 6G11 Vibrolux &/or 6G16 Vibroverb. IMHO, the best sounding amps Fender ever made. Think Mark Knopfler/Sultans of Swing, that's a Strat into a 6G11 (or 6G11A) Vibrolux. Cheers

Amp Parts Direct, huh? APD is a name I heard float around, but never looked into it. Thanks to you, I just got through poking a bit at their website and I now got the feeling that APD is going to be another good source for some GAS. APD is also under fresh and new ownership to infuse the business.

When I was reading APD's "About" page, I found it interesting that the new owners were having extreme difficulties making contact with ClassicTone... ONE YEAR AGO!!!! Basically before the covid poopstorm!!! I guess the writing-was-already-on-the-wall a year ago.
