Marshall DSL FX Loop warning...nothing major or ?

Just thought I would give a heads up on something I learned over the past couple days after getting my Chase Tone Secret Pre-Amp. But apparently after watching some utoobz I find out the new DSL FX loops do not like having boost/pre-amp/noise gates in them, big volume drop and a little noise can arise. Not a big deal for me since I am the bedroom wanker but stinks I bought the Secret Pre-Amp before I found out. Delays and Reverbs work fine with no issues, no idea why it happens with the drive/eq type pedals.

Marshall amps in general are lacking in the effects loop compatibility.

To compound this problem effects path inside the amp may be routed through proprietary digital switching circuits...making it more difficult to tweak or modify.
Many people have experienced the same.

But there "is" an effects loop kit which can be adapted and installed. This has potential to solve mismatch problems.

It will work in pretty much any tube amp.

Thanks for the info, I may eventually look into it but it isn't a big deal for me at this point. I haven't had many amps with loops so far or ones with normal loops..lol The Ibanez loop basically moves the built in Tube Screamer where ever you want it in the chain.
