While this EPI LP was initially a simple, low cost, Poly coated, Chinese built version of the Gib LP's,
I made some upgrades that even exceeded the original cost of the guitar. AND if I really wanted to max it out, I could do even more involved and costly upgrades. But as it stands, just adding T Tops to the original controls, and the Bone nut has made it a real gem.
If I wanted to add a Swtchcraft switch, new jack, Locking Tuners, Bridge and Tailpiece, Bourns or CTS pots and Orange drop caps and vintage wiring, I am sure all of these would perfect the guitar, but it is pretty nice as is.
