There has been the Mike Mathews Freedom amp, the first notable battery powered guitar amp...
The Sovtek Mig, a tube amp...
and now also this amp. All made for sold by Electro Harmonix.
I imagine that the newer "electro harmonix" tube amps are actually a re-made sovtek mig design.

Yes the pots in the old Mig amps were hideous.
The rest of the amp wasn't all so bad. It was pretty hefty Russian Mil Spec Iron.
I used to just shotgun all the PC mount pots and install flying leads.

But the intresing thing is that it has potential to be modified into something more fun and useful.

Got something else inbound. Have it down to 9 amps in recording area & 18 guitars..right ratio for unlimited inspiration, 2021 no more gear..lol only mods. Have 5 4x12 stations set up now. Most stuff is gone or for sale.

Some of the Sovteks were VERY reminiscent of early 2204s. Wish i knew that starting out cause you could grab one in the 90s for literally nothing brand new and now they are getting pricey
