The last time I tried the bridge pickup I got no sound out of it at all, I had to exercise the switch back and forth to clean the oxide off it before the bridge pickup came to life...Don't you go wearing out that switch!

If you want a real challenge, try using only the bridge pickup for the whole week.
I have a single guitar with one pickup (a Firebird I) and I have had stretches where it's been the only guitar I have played for a week or more at a time. It does make you get creative with the controls and location of your picking.

I usually only use the bridge pickup for what I play. Once in awhile I switch. Depends which band and songs. At home it's the bridge.If you want a real challenge, try using only the bridge pickup for the whole week.

Those are active Peavey pickups with a Kahler Spyder. Those pickups blow any EMG out of the water IMO and the are completely noiseless too. Unfortunately you can't find them outside old Peavey guitars.
It is a kick-ass guitar, as good as any Fender or Gibson but for a fraction of the price.

The neck on this is very close to late 80's Fender, feels almost identical to the one I had in the 1989 Strat Plus.

I can handle the thin neck. My Esquire has a skinny little stick, and I love it. My Gretsch is on the thin side too. To me, neck profile has never been a deal breaker.You'd like the body and pickups but you'd want a beefier neck
