Our tree is still in the box,
I haven’t put the lights up yet man I am lazy.
Many years ago while our kids were still young , because of the weather and lack of work, we were unable to get a tree till just days before Christmas, but our kids were troopers they decorated the tree for 2 straight days and had lost all that anxiety they would normally have.
So I seldom set the tree up early, because of the closeness that one year brought to us all.
There will be pics upon competition. Thanks

That is a great story and memory!
 
Last Christmas we’d had just bought this new place in the mountains and the wife’s says “let’s put up ALL the decorations we have up there”. Ugh, 15 plus years of accumulating decorations. 5 artificial trees, a 10 footer, a couple of 5s, and a few smaller ones. Bunches of lights, all kinds of nick-nacks. Etc.

We didn’t get it all put away to around March. We said that was the last hurrah. This year, just the 1 foot tree and a single laser light for the outside.
