I absolutely love Adrian Smith! Dave Murray and Janick Gers are awesome as well, but i always loved his guitar style and tone. The other two guys kinda play freestyle live but Adrian is very meticulous and precise live, as he is on the album.

He made some slight goofs but its a song they never play live and hell, he still made it sound awesome. Id give anything to be a 10th as good as him lol

Adrian Smith is the O.G. i prefer his solos.

His used to be a dead ringer for the one you have! He's said before in the past that it was the first guitar he ever bought, in the early 70s for £325. He had the mini humbucker in the bridge routed out to a full size humbucker sometime between his first band Urchin and joining Iron Maiden

Thats a sad, sorry state of affairs right there! If kids would listen to Maiden , they might actually learn something in addition to hearing something great.

Back in senior year, i was in Honor's English 12 like a goon but all my buddies were in regular English and they had to read and test on Samuel Taylor Cooleridge's Rime Of The Ancient Mariner. I gave a friend of mine, my copy of Powerslave and he passed it around the week before their test and three ACED it without ever cracking a book lol

Thats educational value you cant buy
