Whats a guitar outside of your normal flavor that you'd love to have?

Ive always been a fan of the popular axes like Les Pauls, SGs, Vs, Explorers, Strats and Teles but i love a lot of other guitars as well. But what I play is usually an SG, Explorer or Tele. However, I was looking at other guitars that are off the beaten path and not something that I would normally use. One in particular is the awesome Gibson Byrdland.

Personality and viewpoints all aside and out of the window, Ted Nugent made me want one of those as a kid, from the massive sound he produced from it and its harnessed feedback. I was fortunate enough to get to try one at Gruhn Guitars in Nashville back in 1997 thru a cranked Silverface Fender Twin coincidentally enough lol But in its intended state of clean jazz, it was even more lovely.

So the question is: whats some of the guitars you admire outside of your normal preferences?

for me this because Blackmore played it, if he plays it that means its cool guitar.:) forgot to ad pic :)

Electrics, I’m good. Got a tele clone and a Strat for the single coil sound. And a G400 and semi hollow for the HB thing. However. I have always had GAS for a really nice Martin acoustic. Won’t ever have one. Doesn’t stop me from wishing for one.
