Yes. Hell froze over and I bought a small tube amp. It was an awesome deal. I had to drive to North New Jersey to get it.

I've watched all the videos and read all the reviews. After weeks of agonizing, GC had this "like new" amp for 130.00. Who knows, maybe it's haunted.

I'll try it after a nap. If it stinks, my local GC will be getting an amp. Hey, this may be my last GC amp (If they go under).

they sound rather good with the stock speaker -- but glorious through a 12"
you can rig an existing COMBO 12 as a cab ya know --- I do it ALL THE TIME through a couple of my 12" combos (Marshall and Peavey) I use the 4 or 8 ohm speakers as "cabs" and run smaller watt (1 and 5 and 15 ) through the larger "cabinets"

It'll have to be a separate cab. There doesn't appear to be a way to fit a 12 inch.

I run my bluesbrealer 007 combo.........(10 inch speaker stock) into my peavey Bandit with 12" sheffield speaker ..........
sound great as a 10" -- AMAZING thorough the 12
Ive run everything here.........except the Marshall LEad -- the HARTKE and the DOG -- thorough the peavey 12" -- it is my "base line" speaker
I can get true "balance" and speaker uniqueness from all of them running through the SAME speaker and determine what stays and what goes ;)

Was the dog OEM, or was it custom? Did it come with an amp or a guitar?

Congratulations!

HNAD, that thing should scream, 5 watts, even 1 watt, is louder than one would imagine.

Have fun with your new toy.

Not to hijack the thread, but yeah, I love this little 5 watt single ended beast. The stock 1x12 cab is really nice, but I can plug it into any cab, and rock! :dood:And Yes, it is way too loud for home use, but talk about simple; one knob. The more you turn it, the better it sounds.:jammer:

I had one of those when they first were released, and you hit the nail on the head.

Really cool tones when its cranked, I loved it all the way up and my Strat on the neck p/u. Classic rock n roll tones right there, control it all from the guitars volume control.

I still have one of those! It’s intact too! (On the left)
