Does Your Mind Create The Universe?

A universe of stupidity yes.

Just kidding, I find this kind of stuff fascinating

I believe the Universe exists, but that even its simplest facet is unimaginably greater and more complex than we're capable of grasping.

What we see as the universe is indeed a construct of our own consciousness, a concept based in perceiving only its coarsest properties. A perception that's further distorted by our utter inability to comprehend everything from its most basic aspects to its actual size - much less how all its components are connected in a single system.

We're missing not just the detail and the big picture but also most of the meaning that resides, unseen, in everything.
Like a dog wandering around a library, sure that he understands everything based on what it smells like.

Occasionally some of us are able to recognize just how inadequate the human mind is for actually comprehending the universe.
And of course as our science & knowledge (and perhaps our consciousness too) evolve over time, we can hope to continue advancing.

Even so, and however far we progress, a full understanding of the Universe - even on the most basic materialistic level - is likely IMO to remain forever beyond our capacity.
