OK, I am a member of an SG group on Facebook, I don't follow it closely or often, but today I saw this cool pic.

Name the artist. Then add some cool pics of other players with their SG's especially if they are well known for normally playing a different model or brand of guitar as their main choice.

Most definitely! I remember Guitar World had an issue of famous guitars and their stories and Alex's White ES355 made the list. Pretty much was his main weapon from 2112 to Permanent Waves, with appearances on and off again all the way to Test For Echo, along with tours up until their retirement.

He once said that is the one piece of gear he'd grab and save out of a burning building

I FLAT out LOVE how Alex gets that ES 335 to reach the heavens in sonic nirvana to my ears.

Freaking 2112 Temples of Syrinx circa 1976, I was forever changed when 2112 was to be my first Rush album and the needle touched down. My ears had never before and never since heard anything like Geddy, Neil and Alex.

I was pretty sure my memory was accurate. Alex also played a Walnut color ES335.

I actually held one of these ES 335 in walnut finish at a guitar shop in Gaithersburg MD, back around 2000

hey Chilli , you know before i knew brand names i was identifying guitar how pointy it was way before i ownd any pointy ones
