ROUNDUP of OTHER GUITARS. Homage to Hidden Gems

For me it depends on what tone i want for what song or if i made the song playing on that specific guitar, basically just keeping the mojo since thats the guitar that inspired whatever riff. I quad track so two tracks i'll use the bridge pickup, the other two i'll use the neck pickup. sometimes i'll fiddle with the tone knob just to add a little bit more, but leads, if i do anything, maybe nudge up the gain a bit. Otherwise, if i don't have a lot going on on that song and depending on what key im in, i may get adventurous and switch between the two pickups mid solo but if its the case as in my last song where there's a lot going on, i'll just do the lead through the bridge pickup just so it cuts through.

thatsd all good my brother , in my case i like to keep it simple so i dont have problem replicating whatever i record :)

Anyone ever checked out Haloguitars.com ? They custom build you a guitar to literally any spec imaginable, including any design you could draw up. Ungodly priced though but i guess if you wanted something craft built that is entirely your own creation, it might be worth it. Its kinda fun to play with the designs and configurations actually. Wishful thinking lol

That is one fine Instrument they built for the video guy. And I like the design work he told them he wanted in that guitar. It looks and sounds awesome!!

I think they are phenomenal and its awesome its YOUR creation and idea. If you lack the resources to build your own but you got the cash for your dream guitar? You couldnt do much better.

This was one i was messing with on the build site: bascially a Les Paul custom but 25.5" scale, half scalloped frets with Stainless Frets, kahler locking tremolo, locking tuners, fishman ceramic active bridge and fishman alnico active neck pickup with coil splitting, mahogany body and neck, set neck design, with 4mm California buckeye burl cap on top and back.

The price though: WOW!Screenshot_20201128-131126.pngScreenshot_20201128-131204.png

GrassRoots LP. Korean made. Mahogany Back, maple top with veneer flame, Gotoh hardware. The smoothest playing and sweetest sounding LP I've ever had my hands on.
GrassRoots is a division of Edwards which is a division of ESP
Makes me wonder if Edwards MIJ would be a step up, but this one satisfies my LP needs wonderfully.

Agiles good gear -- Rodo puts out some great stuff-- Ive had SX and hadeans and Agiles -- all solid gear.

THIS suprised the poop outta me

Incredible finish :)

Incredible finish :)
Isnt it?? I was playing around with the wood caps and thats the California Buckeye Burl. I had never seen that wood used before but in a translucent finish, its absolutely gorgeous, like a swirling flame.

In another life, maybe I can convince the missus into letting me get "just one more guitar" and id have it built from them. She'd poop a 10 mega ton brick once she saw the price though lmao

Go to Africa and ask tribes to teach you voodoo, take her hair and pic with you. When you are back, you can use her money to buy all the guitars :)

lol the joke is on me there: shes a stay at home mom so im only robbing myself! But i like the voodoo angle you got going on here! I can start saving old chicken bones and practice making a burlap sack doll, just see what happens next

It's actually really cool music.

When I saw him he had the voodoo statues etc.. all down by his pedalboard.

He had an album out at one timed titled "Voodoo Dead" Ya, I'm a little left of center, ha.
Thats pretty awesome actually lol the whole voodoo imagery and culture is admittedly cool in its own way. Got a lot of blues history tied to it
