I have the exact opposite issue, I never liked my picks having a lot of give, if any at all. Just a personal preference thing though. That pick is pretty much retired just recently. Trying these out now

I still use the blue ones, and I can get a good solid month from them before I grab another..

Fast rhythm parts like "Run To The Hills" are hard for me to nail with a rigid pick. I like just a little flex, because it makes my overall tone more polished and less "clacky," if that makes sense.

When you run as much gain as I do, you have to play as "cleanly" as possible to maintain clarity.

Same here, Fender heavy for all electrics. I’ll use a medium or light if I’m playing only cowboys chords on an acoustic.
