I want a bass guitar

I hear ya there, Adrian. A 300 lb Tree with a pink bass vs. a punk rocker. Nope.
Geddy Lee played one for awhile. A fella from a cool band that used to play a restaurant bar I worked at in 1980-81 played the first Steinberger I ever saw.
 
I personally never did like the design of steinberger at all. Then again, headless guitars are really not my thing :/
 
I had the Spirit 6-string for a while, but it was purely a practical thing.
I worked on the oil rigs and it was the only guitar I could fit in my luggage and still stay under the luggage weight allowance.
But I need a guitar body to hug with my forearm, otherwise it waggles all over the place and makes me grip the fretboard harder.
