COVID-19 and Me...

Yeah, I'm not sure how I would react if I knew for sure that I have been infected with the covid-19. But not knowing, would definitely drive me crazy. I'm 62 and in decent health. But my underlying conditions are asthma and G.A.S. Fortunately the asthma is well under control... The GAS is not!

I'm sure you'll be fine, Sp8ctre. The winds in southern California have been going crazy in the last few days. Nasty fires are still burning. All kinds of poopy stuff in the air. You could also have contracted a flu. Do you do flu shots? Hang in there brother... :fingersx:

I had my Flu and Pneumonia shots a few months ago. I'm almost sure I have the COVID...but I'm doing okay so far. Testing tomorrow...maybe my wife will worry so much she'll buy me a new guitar!

I already talked her into a new BMW X-7 for an after the holidays purchase!

WEll at least you have your vintage SG with you and can play that till this passes
MANY strains of Flu exist (also allergies that change and develop over time) and seasonal "stuff" that is going around -- the FLU shot is not an END ALL never get sick magic bullet---Dont throw in the covid towel yet....

I believe you will be fine---- If I didnt Id be asking for DIBS on that SG............I mean you know -- in the event the WORST happens -- I wanted the blue one but you sold it .......

sad.

SMILE ya bugger -- and good luck today

Test results came back this morning. Positive!

My wife is also sick now. She wasn't able to eat anything yesterday or hold down food. Dry heaves for a while. Better today, but still sick.

I'm feeling about normal again. I think I'm pretty much over it. It smacked me and I kicked it's @$$.

I knew I had it and I've honestly never been worried about getting it. Of course I took all precautions and will continue to do so, but I knew I'd survive it.

I also get to stay home from work for at least all of next week or until the 14 day incubation thing is over. Then I have to be tested again. I can't go back
to work until I get a Negative test result. So...I'm teleworking until further notice.

Worst thing is no one knows how you will be affected. A local, pharmacist here got it in April amd recovered. In May he had more issues yet was negative. It has affected his memory and energy to the point where he is still not back at work.
I take it very seriously with my BP amd overweight some. Can't say how it might affect me.
