Really?! That’s awesome man! You know, just tonight I was thinking about re-recording the solo. Not changing the phrasing or the note selection (one of the very few times I used the 24th fret) but thinking I might be able to play it “cleaner” if that makes any sense. But if everyone is liking it just the way it is, I’ll leave it as is.

That’s the best way bro, and every time you play it your solo will get better !!!
Cheers buddy

Well the problem was my hand was completely worn out when i recorded it the first time. At the end of the last run before the pinched harmonic there was this weird hiccup and that was where my hand went "Yup, im done" Mainly due to that last riff that plays throughout the solo and the choir section really forces me to stretch out my pinky to hit some of the notes, and quad tracking that, plus redoing it to make sure that that dreaded string squeak didn't make its way through. Yea...my hand was done.

Took me about maybe three takes this morning (plus it helped that i nudged the gain up a bit as i forgot im using passive pickups and not active) but i got it to where im content with it, so now it's just waiting for the bass and i can call it done :)
