You meant a Origin 20H. Also, this YouTuber says the amp is boosted, but doesn't detail what was used for the boosting. It does sound pretty explosive though.

My mistake, thought it was a 50?

I think he posted it to reply to everyone that said the Origin couldn't do more gainier type tones.

I have the 20H and am really enjoying it, I do have a couple of more accepted type amps, but just love what the Origin is capable of, especially for what it cost me.

Nothing but really good reviews for the Marshall Origin series of amps from those who actually own them!

Had mine well over a year, can't find any faults.

Other than like my bro @Robert Herndon pointed out about the gain, or lack thereof. That's more of a subjective type thing.

So the Origin amps are lower gain than a typical JMP 4 hole (4 input) type amp I take it? There's no official schematics available for them, & I haven't found any "reverse engineered" schematics either. Be interesting to take a look inside one, see what they've done with gain structuring & interstage attenuation. Cheers

That's what I was thinking... That the gain on the Origins is suppose to be similar like the old four hole-lers, but at much lower volumes and plus a decent master volume...

oddly the Mashall SS (old 80s stuff) like the 8020 Vs -- have ALL GAIN -- the Master LEad can hardly produce a pure clean but man it does Marshall Metal Gain to a friggin "T"

Just run into a Weber Mass Lite 100 and line out of it.
