I'm in trouble. Weed will be legal in NJ, and I'm unemployed.

I have not heard any specifics on how DUI will be measured and enforced.
I hear car insurance (an already disproportionately expensive item / hot button issue here) will increase.
I will deduce they expect increased risk; that means the road will be less safe for my family.

I have heard this will create jobs, increase tax revenue and reduce illegal trafficking.
I have not heard any specifics on how this will reduce property or other taxes or otherwise benefit my family.

I hope it works out well since the people voted for it, but I am not optimistic.

In Alaska it started out medical then you had to pay a Doctor $600.00 to get the card then you are on the DEA hit list
and if you needed pain medication from a Doctor you were branded a druggie stupid is what stupid does.

It's not that big of a deal. We legalized in 2012. Guess what happened? Nothing changed. Except the amount of otherwise decent people spending time in jail over a little bit of green vegetable material.

As far as my Oregon neighbors, as I understand it, heroin and cocaine have been decriminalized to an extent- that's not the same as legalization at all, it just means people can't do 10 years prison for a slight dusting of these drugs anymore.

Speaking of which, Billy Strings, everybody!!

It's a little thing that you blow into, that detects THC up to about four hours after you smoke it...

Car insurance: it really hasn't increased. Statistically in states where cannabis is legal, the accidents have decreased.

No it doesn't decrease your taxes. The money is used for a variety of things, mostly to give politicians more money.
Politicians see it as a money tree.
They make the taxes on weed sky high.....around here it's probably like 25% tax on weed.
They also tax the growers land very heavily.

What the hell is Heroine ??? some new car soap i missed or somethin.
