Happy Guy Fawkes Day/Bonfire Night to all of our British and Newfoundland members!

Does yours go on every night from the middle of June, build up to the night itself, then slowly fade away towards September?
In the hicksville state of West Virginia, after all fireworks became legal about 4 years ago, you get drunken rednecks who will spend between $1000-2000 on fireworks. The same people live in shanties and squalor but somehow have an explosives and beer fund.

As there are only a handful of year-round fireworks stores spread across the state, pop up tents begin showing up in late may/early june and are down after the 4th of July. That means that you have a solid 4-6 weeks of nightly barrages of idiots firing at all hours of the night. But most buy up enough to carry on for literally months like you're saying.

Due to COVID cancelling all public displays of fireworks and our annual vacation was cancelled, i spent probably $400 on them for a display for the family. I only did mine between the city wide regulated time slot of 8 to 10pm on July 4th

Cheers to all..
I love newfoundlands
