Need some recommendations

I need a couple new cable jacks for my guitars. I don't like working on things, I'd rather play them instead. With this in mind, what are (in your opinions) the most durable and reliable jacks? I know they're a simple mechanism, but I don't want to have to replace one again for....ever, lol

What say you peoples?

Quarter inch output jacks Mono used in most acoustic and electric guitars with passive pickups. Stereo used in acoustic and electric guitars with stereo outputs or active electronics.

Switchcraft has been the most reliable and longest lasting 1/4" jack ever manufactured....

I need one for my Epi V, and I got a few extra, because I'm sure I have another guitar or two that needs a new jack, or at least will in the future...I think my Kelly needs one, pretty sure that my old Ibanez needs one...I'd have to go through and check the rest, but after the V gets fixed I probably won't lol

Anyway, I got these, they should be fine, yes?

Looks like the Switchcraft will be perfect for that.

I guess some guitars use barrel style jacks...:

Nothing worse than a crackling jack while doing Pete Townshend jumps, I tell ya.

"Cracklin' Jack will make you cry tonight"..... send you to ... err, oh, sry.

Cant go wrong with Switchcraft.
I recommend the cheap China ebay ones, if replacing output jacks is your thing.
But, since you would rather play guitar than solder guitar, Switchcraft is a fine choice.

Now plugs, plugs are a whole lot of fun.
The ebay China ones will eventually make you an expert jack of all replacing jacks and plugs.

Yep. That is all I use. @syscokid , I recall that you said you would change all your guitars to these jacks and may have been the one to bring them to my attention. Did you make the switch?

I never cheap out on guitar jacks (it's a PIA later). The expensive ones aren't that expensive.
