What Are The Requirements For An Ambassadorship?

first there is a 1004 page booklet you must memorize.
After which an exhaustive exam is administered by RVA.....
Grant will then test your knowledge of the innerworkings of the interwebs, the forums hidden rooms and the special meaning behind the number 13.5
you will then be required to fly to Florida and go on an opium den and guitar shop spelunking tour with yours truly --- if you survive --- (few have) you will then be asked to reach 1,000 posts on TTR -- at which time you get your Pledge Pin and custom Title.
;)

I think its the number of posts.

Once you hit a thousand you are nominated. Could be completely wrong though...........lol

Looks like @eSGEe beat me to it.
That is correct. Then the crowd names you, and you get to veto/apporove the name.

WRONG WRONG WRONG.

Far Rider, those guys are only MODS and one normal knucklehead.

IT TAKES MONEY, PAYOLA, GREENBACKS. WAV/Grant is a leader of the Mafia.
Now I have to go back into witness protection. Don't tell anyone or you will be next.

The basic educational requirements of an ambassador include a bachelor’s degree in politics, history or international relations. You should supplement these studies with undergraduate and postgraduate fellowships, and conferences centering on foreign policy matters. A broad spectrum of knowledge on your country and the rest of the world is a vital quality for an ambassador. This information comes in handy during discussions, conferences, and negotiations with diplomats from across the world. The Council on American Ambassadors offers undergraduate fellowships on international relations.

Oh, you mean on TTR?

I'm a high school dropout with a GED. How'd I get in here???

I recall showing up at a bar in Fountain Springs, California (look this place up on Google - the town is literally a bar) with a band i was playing with when I was 17.

They were all older than me, and the bouncer stopped me at the door, guitar in hand.

"We don't let kids in here."

One of my bandmates said, "He's in the band, Dudd..."

The bouncer asked me, "How old are you, kid?"

I felt somebody kick me in the back of the leg.

"Twenty One, Sir," I replied.

"Get in here and get set up then!"

True story!!!!
