Like The Maytag Repairman:

Robert my bolt neck Fenders you can barely get them to go out of tune. My wrap bridge SG JR all mahogany guitar is constantly out of tune. let it sit all nite will sound bad in the morning. WHAT DID I DO. NOTHING i started just beatin the poop out of it and after while its pretty close in tune. I to used to fiddle constantly but im over it hahahahahhaa. You play out so its more important to be on the money in tune than me on the couch.

I could never use anything bigger than 10s, though there are some people that love 11s all the way up to 13s. Thats like playing with train tracks lol

I play with a heavy hand myself sometimes, especially when playing a good rhythm part. I just like the response ( Malcolm Young was this way too and had to go to 13s lol). Id say you're right with it busting your low strings because ive had the Low E literally unwind and collapse at the pickup area many times from banging on it hard

Could be!!!!

I play 5 days/nights a week and I've broken 2 strings in 6 years. I frequently see Gibson's with a razor sharp saddles.

My bandmate's 1976 Gibson Les Paul broke strings constantly, until I slotted his saddles.

I beat hell out of these guitars, but if the saddles are properly slotted, you shouldn't be breaking strings.

I couldn't even a living if I was breaking strings like that.

It may take me a couple of weeks to break one, but I break them on my strats as well as the Gibsons

Im with ya there! Id love to be able to get paid and make a living out of the guitar. But I am both A) not good enough for that and B) lack the band resources lol

So playing to make myself happy and vibrate walls is good enough for me :ROFLMAO:
