seriously?

Those damn Joyos are getting really good lol! I just bought an Ultimate Drive pedal which is a ripoff of the Fulltone OCD a week ago and though its not a direct copy, its VERY close. And at $34 new vs about $128, its hard to argue.

Apparently the sound difference is because they screwed up and placed a couple incorrectly sized parts like 2 resistors, one capacitor , one potentiometer on the gain knob and flipped one of the diodes backwards. I just ordered the proper parts a couple days ago ( whopping $8.28) and will do a before and after test. Allegedly if you do this, it gets scary close to the real thing!

cant wait to hear it---

I have the Joyo OMB and the Joyo Ultimate Drive .......they arent hooked up.......but I do like them ........on the occasional rare day I actually plug in a pedal and use it

always love these videos---

its fun to switch to a different page on my computer and just LISTEN through--- then go back and see which was which -- and I was WRONG on this one

I (again) flipped to a different screen and was doing work stuff while this video played "in the background"
I then -- flipped back and watched it -----and sorry I was AMAZED at the fact (and I have owned 2 Mesas) at the fact what I THOUGHT was the mesa was the pedal and what sounded thin and cheap -- was the MESA............again just MY opinion -- but wow---

I think thats always the best way to judge something: in a blindfold test. Kinda like that Music Is Win dude showing off the $5000 Klon Centaur and then comparing it with a Wampler or JHS. Most folks in the comments mentioned that without looking at the screen, they thought the JHS and Wampler outshined the Centaur for a whole lot less money lol

I have listened to some of the Joyo pedals, and I have to say I like what I hear, and for the price is a bonus. as much as I like my Mojo Mojo overdrive, I put the joyo right up there with it. Not to mention the price point of the Joyo is much better. If I come to the place where I think I need a pedal or two, joyo will be at the top of my list.

I figured for $34? Even if it turned out to be a turd, i couldnt cry much over the price. I was actually quite surprised! Lol
