o.k.they have been a couple years.......but any way -- Ive been busy.....

Modeling bass amps .....................................Im intrigued and saddened all in one

This guys experience seems similar to mine with marshall CODE series-----and why I returned 2 Marshall CODES -----(I dont have the patience for 45 min. to set up an "ap" )

now -- I will say next to my HARTKE B600, the Fender Rumble series are actually my second favorite amp line Ive owned 3 -- but..... the Hartke ends up slaying all........

ALSO for those of you with less patience than me or who dont diddle the big strings----- dont waste your 23 minutes......just move on ----

Nice vids @eSGEe.
I am in the market for a small bass amp, and you did recommend the Fender Rumbles in another conversation.
But I would appreciate your opinion of the earlier V2(?) Rumbles (if you've had one), and the 25W & (maybe) 60W in particular.
They interest me more because they come with larger diameter speakers (10" & 12") so far easier to source decent replacements, and both have an FX loop.
Plus, 2nd hand is cheaper if you can wait for one to come up (which I can).
Also I would prefer to control the modelling side from an outboard pedal (Zoom MS-60B), so would probably bypass the Rumble preamp using the FX return.
That way I could more easily get the modelled bass tones into my looper pedal before the amp.

Any thoughts?

monkey--- I like all the rumbles Ive not owned this model have played through several though in pawn shops and opium dens- never heardone that sounded "bad"
to answer the 25 vs 60 question.......(I have owned a metric crap ton of bass amps most every brand and 8" speakers to 15" speakers.................) I say that to say this:
I have owned for almost 10 years now a 60 watt 12" speaker Hartke B600

I find it to be perfectly awesome for home use -- and it would hold up to a small venue and a relaxed drummer --your not gonna out boom Keith Moon or Ginger Baker with it though

I misplaced my 80lb British SS 1x15 200W bass combo some years ago. Has anybody seen it?
