My favorite drummer that I've actually seen in a concert is Tommy Aldridge. Once in the late 70s with the Pat Travers Band, then again with Ozzy/Randy Rhodes.

Favorite drummer that I very regretfully never got to see live is Neil Peart.

One guitar player I very regretfully never got to see live, Randy Rhodes.

And when I saw Rick Derringer play at a club in the 80's he had a drummer named Myron Grombacher who went on to play with Pat Benatar. He was a lot of fun to watch live.
Also, Roger Taylor of Queen. He never seems to get mentioned on anyone's "list", but he's good and very underrated.
