That looks like the perfect home for something like a Gibson GA-15, or tweed Champ or Princeton project.

On one hand, that vintage Bell & Howell speaker box looks very cool. But on the other hand, the box's construction looks too flimsy and restrictive for a proper speaker cab, IMO...

It does look flimsy but it can't be too bad if it survived for more than 70 years. I wonder what it's made of?

It was an old Record player. Have all the tubes & amp it came with but not the record player part. Will take pic of guts when i get down to the bandroom this week.

Oh sweet! I've never played one but have only heard good things about them. My favorite guitar is my 1977 Stratocaster and this Tokai should be very similar I think.

Back in the day I had a cream colored big headstock Tokai, I should NEVER have sold it. It was a player, as is no upgrades etc...
