I just got this one today. The shredder went back due to broken switch issues...

This looks great out of the box. However the bridge is way too high IMO. I'll have to do some adjustments. Love the color!

Have yet to plug it in, but I will soon. My arm is working a little so I may be able to strap it on...

Had enough time for a couple songs. Arm still hurts and I have to be super careful, but this thing sounds really nice.
Played it through my Silkyn on the clean channel and the P90's aren't bad! I'll have Robert help me set it up on
Wednesday and I'm sure I'll like it even better.

For $399 I don't think you can beat it. Even better that I had $200 in points at Musicians Friend so it was under $250.

Lol, I've paid more for pedals that are sitting on a shelf!

The SG will certainly get used.

That is really good-looking. See you are taking another stab at P-90's, huh?

Yea, why not. These seem to be a little more tame and offer more than just OD/Distortion.

The jury is still out due to my limited ability to play while in a sling...

The QC is nice on this one. The only odd thing to me is how high the bridge is set.

From the photos and comparing to my old Gibson SG special with P90's it looks correct.

I picked up a Les Paul Special in Feb and I am still trying to come to terms with the P-90's. They have their own thing, but that thing is very limited IME and they are very narrow-sounding compared to a humbucker. Plus the hum. I wanted it for lower-gain stuff and that's what I use it for but the P-90's are not a match for humbuckers in any objective performance sense. So I don't know for sure long-term...I really like the guitar a lot, it feels and plays extraordinarily good, but there is a decent chance it is going to end up with mini-humbuckers in it.

So far I'm not getting any hum at all. Not sure what they did to remedy this? More testing is in order and I'll have Robert over tomorrow to play with it...

It really only gets noticeable with a fair amount of gain. Since I don't really do anything clean there is always going to be some hum with single-coils. Pretty silent before I stomp on the box.

Yea, we all know I'm no big gain user...but I'll try it on the dirt channel just to see what's what.

Looks awesome. The color is perfect. I wish that Epiphone would use the early sixties style headstock on all their guitars (except batwings, of course). It looks so much more classy.
